Stairs & Staircases

Your staircase receives heavy footfall and can be damaged as items are moved around your home.  Your staircase construction consists of newel posts, hand and base rails, spindles, steps and risers and stringer sections.  It is common place to have chips, cracks, holes and gaps where main sections of your staircase join.  For combined natural and painted wood staircases it is also possible to have paint or fill in oak grain which is unsightly.
